Unleaded petrol 2nd most expensive in EU

Malta has the second highest industrial wholesale price for unleaded petrol in Europe,
Alice.it reported. Malta’s price stands at €0.614. The Netherlands surpasses Malta by €0.015 with its price currently set at €0.629.
The average EU wholesale price for unleaded petrol is €0.55.
On the other hand, Italy has the highest industrial price for diesel out of the EU-27. It in fact stands at €0.70 per litre. The EU average price is that of €0.648. Industrial prices for diesel are also high in Greece (€0.689), the Netherlands (€0.686) and Lithuania (€0.685).
Meanwhile, local fuel prices have increased in April. While the price of unleaded petrol and lead replacement petrol has remained unchanged at €1.090 and €1.160 per litre respectively, all the other fuels have seen price increases. Read more.
