The Summit is being organised by the leading consulting and cargo brokerage firm, Axelrod Energy Projects based in the United States and will be opened by the Hon. Austin Gatt, Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Communications.

The Summit is expected to attract a niche of leading fuel oil traders, market analysts, and banking and financial executives. The conference programme will be discussing a range of very interesting topics such as petroleum prices, oil storage, fuel oil market growth and regional demand across the world.

Enemalta Chairman, Ing. Alexander Tranter stated “We are extremely honoured to host a number of international high calibre oil experts who will be discussing the latest developments in this particular oil sector. This event has particular importance and relevance to Malta since both our power stations are mainly dependent on fuel oil to generate electricity.”

Delegates attending this World Summit from different parts of the world, will be given the opportunity to visit Enemalta’s vast underground storage network based at Has-Saptan. Further information on the Summit can be obtained from the conference website www.worldfueloilsummit.com
