Junior Chamber International (JCI) Malta is organising a one day course named JCI Presenter.  It is designed to help those who want to develop their skills as a confident, effective and persuasive presenter and also for the more experienced speakers who want to expand their presentation skills.

This course focuses on the concepts of creating and delivering an effective presentation utilising visual aids and strong delivery methods, while keeping in mind the needs of the audience.

The Trainer, Walter Labres, joined Junior Chamber Austria in 1998 and served as a member of the national board from 2002 till 2005, he held the position of the director of trainings at the Vienna World Congress in 2005. Walter is specialized in leadership academies, teambuilding, communication and presentation techniques. Walter is certified trainer for JCI PRIME, JCI ACHIEVE, JCI LEAD and JCI TRAINER and the JCI HEAD TRAINER COURSE

This course may be used as a one-time presentation course or as the first step in becoming a JCI University Trainer. The growth of technology, the impact of communications and the demands of an increasingly complex world mean that people need to be better equipped. Within the first 10 seconds of being introduced to someone new, you are judged on whether or not you are a person to be listened to. It is well known that people, who have strong presentation skills are promoted faster, paid more and are generally more successful than those who are less proficient. Learning to present yourself and your ideas effectively can improve your negotiation skills and also lead to stronger interpersonal relationships.

If you want to develop your presentation skills, then you should attend JCI Presenter on either the 22nd, 23rd or 24th May 2008, the fee for JCI members is €80 for non members €100, bookings can be made by contacting Karl Grech on 79050478 or karl.grech@jci.org.mt. For more information visit www.jci.org.mt
