Kids have a ball with Arsenal coaches at EYFC

Thirty-four young members of the Arsenal Supporters Club whose ages ranged between 5 and 15 years had a ball of a time with two Arsenal FC coaches, Paul Shipwright and Martin Davis, during the Emirates Airline Young Footballer Challenge (EYFC) 2008.

Paul Shipwright and Martin Davis from the Arsenal Community Department were again in Malta as guests of Arsenal Supporters Club to assist the Challenge, which is sponsored by Emirates, the Dubai-based international airline.

The young gunners had a fantastic time and enjoyed the training and games. Paul Shipwright and Martin Davis where pleasantly surprised by the familiarity these children have with regards Arsenal Football Club and their favorite Arsenal players.

"We were happy to see so many young supporters joining in the fun at the Emirates Airline Young Footballer Challenge.  This was another opportunity for our young members and their families to get together,” said Richard Felice Pace, Chairman Arsenal Supporters Club.  

At the end of the session, the children received a certificate of E.Y.F.C. and a goodie bag each with Arsenal gifts for their efforts. They also took the chance to pose for photographs with the Paul Shipwright, Martin Davis.  The activity was also supported by The Premiershop of Zejtun and The Radisson SAS Bay Point Hotel in St George’s Bay.
