Prime Minister to present Budget for 2008

The Malta Government Budget for 2008 will be presented by Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi this evening Monday at 1830 CEST.  

MaltaMedia will be providing full coverage of developments related to the Budget. A special news feature about the Budget will include all the salient points and details, including the full text and audio of the Budget Speech.

The Budget estimates parliamentary debates will start on Thursday, October 23, with two debates daily ending on Friday 2nd of November.

The Leader of the Opposition Dr Alfred Sant will have his Budget right of reply on the following Monday, 22nd October, with the Prime Minister responding again on Wednesday, 24th October.
