Joe Saliba announces PN victory predictionPN secretary general Joe Saliba said the PN has won the general election by around 1,200 votes.

Unofficial results indicate PN got 49.3%, MLP 48.9%, and other parties got 1.8% so no party obtained the absolute majority.

MLP deputy leader Michael Falzon said the MLP will wait for the 1st count of its candidates before making an announcement as it is so close.

All Vodafone customers who send a blank SMS to 50902008 will receive SMS PN general secretary announces victoryupdates with breaking news on the general elections. Customers may also send an SMS with the district number to 50902008 to receive specific information about the selected district. SMS updates are available to both prepaid and post paid customers. Each SMS costs €0.12 (Lm0.05).
