Minister re-appoints PBS editorial Board

The Minister for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport has confirmed the appointments of the Editorial Board for the Public Broadcasting Services as is required by the National Policy for Broadcasting.
The Chairman of the Board is Prof Joe Pirotta whilst Dr Mary Anne Lauri and Mr Charles Mizzi are members.
Prof Pirotta is a University lecturer and has served for a number of years as Chairman of the Broadcasting Authority. Dr Lauri is pro-Rector of the University of Malta whereas Mr Mizii is a veteran journalist.
A new board is expected to be appointed after this board’s term comes to an end on June 4th 2008.
