MLP elects new National Executive Committee

Ten new ordinary members of the National Executive Committee of the Malta Labour Party were elected on Tuesday night.

The elections were held on the second evening of an extraordinary general conference purposely called to elect the administration and executive.

The newly elected members are Claudette Abela Baldacchino, Mario Azzopardi, Guza Cassar, Gino Cauchi, Chris Cilia, Charlon Gouder, Alfred Grixti, Alexander Sciberras, Salvu Seychell, and Nikita Zammit Alamango.

On Monday evening, elections were held for various top posts in the Labour party during which Stefan Zrinzo Azzopardi and Jason Micallef were re-elected as president and party general secretary respectively.
