Frank Psaila has been appointed the new Director for Information of the Nationalist Party.

His appointment, initially proposed by party general secretary Paul Borg Olivier, was approved by the Executive Committee of the party on Wednesday night.

Psaila is a 27 year-old lawyer and ex-PRO of the ‘Studenti Demokristjani Maltin’ (SDM) at the University of Malta.

He has been secretary for information for MZPN since 2007.

Last year he was elected as a local councillor in Luqa and in the run-up to the 2008 election was active in the party’s Information Office.

He has also been active in the production and direction of a number of radio programmes on Radio 101 and for these last two years produced ‘News Desk’.  He is also a regular contributor in ‘in-Nazzjon’ and ‘il-Mument’.
