Two British youths were injured in a jet-ski accident on Wednesday when they lost control of the vehicle which subsequently crashed against rocks at Għajn Tuffieħa Bay, near Mġarr.

24-year-old Anthony Hearn and his sister Christine were involved in the accident just before 1220CET. An ambulance was called on location and rushed the siblings to St. Luke’s Hospital. The youths' injuries included broken bones, however neither is on danger-list.

Members of the Civil Protection Department were called on location to bring the youths back ashore.

Police investigations are underway.
