The police have arrested three persons after 55 cultivated cannabis plants were seized from a garage in Zebbug on Monday evening.

Other objects which were found in the garage are also being investigated by the police.

It seems that the cannabis was meant for trafficking purposes.

Magistrate Edwina Grima was informed of the case and appointed various experts to help her in the inquiry.
