Members of the Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) from
the bomb disposal unit arrived on the two sites soon afterwards and evacuated those present. Following thorough searches, these yielded no hazards.
Meanwhile, a 30-year-old man from Valletta was also arraigned in Court after being cought with ten heroin packets intended for trafficking.
Neither man was granted bail and they remain detained at Kordin Corrective Facility.
After he was denied bail, Carmel Camilleri threatened
the prosecution and was fined Lm 100.
