71-year-old Gozitan injured in Nadur hold-up

A 71-year-old Gozitan was seriously injured during a hold-up at his Nadur residence.

The break-in occurred on Saturday at around 0345 CET in Ta' Hida street, Nadur.

Police preliminary investigations revealed that three men broke into the residence, tied up the man and stole his money.

The Gozitan was rushed to Gozo's General Hospital where he was found to be suffering from grievious injuries.

Duty Magistrate Dr A.Ellul appointed various experts to assist him in the inquiry.

The police are investigating.
