Man dies after helping save children in Gozo

A 49-year-old man from G©¤ajnsielem, Gozo died at Ramla l-¨¤amra on Friday evening after helping to save several children who found themselves in difficulty.

The man himself experienced difficulties while swimming back.

Members of the Civil Protection gave the man first aid but he died on site before the ambulance arrived.

Duty Magistrate Dr P.Coppini appointed various experts to aid him in the inquiry.

Police investigations continue.
