Two Bulgarian women, both aged 20, admitted to pick pocketing in Valletta to the detriment of two persons.

The women, from Sofia, admitted to robbing a German tourist on Monday, as well a Maltese national earlier during the month in Republic Street. The women made away with two wallets and a digital camera. They pledged to return the money to the victims, with the Court ordering them to do so by Thursday.

The women remain under arrest.

The sentence has been deferred until Friday.

Magistrate Miriam Hayman presided over the Court.

The Prosecution was led by Inspector Pierre Micallef Grimaud.
