Roof collapses in Attard

The roof of a residence in Qormi Road, Attard collapsed on Thursday at around 1430 CET.
Police preliminary investigations revealed that the roof caved in while restoration works were being carried out by a 48-year-old San Gwann worker.
The man was slightly injured. He was never in danger of dying, the police said.
An ambulance which was called on site, took the man to Mater Dei hospital.
Police investigations continue.
