There was yet another hold-up on a lotto booth, this time sometime before 1200 CET on Wednesday.

The police said an armed and hooded man went into the booth in Triq il-Kunsill ta' l-Ewropa, Luqa, and while pointing a knife at the female receiver he asked for the money. He escaped with an unspecified sum.

No one was hurt.

Police investigations are under way.
