Woman found in pool of blood after alleged stabbing

Tereza Grech, 47, was found dead in a pool of blood in her residence in San Gwann on Tuesday afternoon. The woman has allegedly been stabbed to death and the police have launched a murder investigation. One of her daughters, a teenager, is being sought by the police.

The corpse was removed from the site at around 1800CET in a police hearse. The woman’s residence is in an area known as Mensija and a forensics team are currently on site.

Magistrate Antonio Mizzi has launched an inquiry whilst police Assistant Commissioner Paul Sammut is heading investigations.
