A 75-year-old man from Zabbar died on Tuesday afternoon immediately after a car accident. The incident happened at Panzavecchia Street, Senglea at around noon.

The collision involved the elderly man’s private car and a bus. No one was injured in the collision so the local traffic wardens were called to draft a report of the incident.  In the process of the report, the 75-year-old fainted and died.

Magistrate Michael Mallia is heading an inquiry and an autopsy is to be conducted on the man who died.
