Six granted bail following fight in Balzan

Six people have been arraigned in court on Wednesday afternoon on charges of seriously injuring Raymond Farrugia in a fight in Balzan on Tuesday night. They pleaded not guilty and were granted bail against a personal guarantee of €2,000 each.
The accused, five men and a 17-year-old girl, Kolya Bugeja, 20, Keith Bugeja, 25, Joseph Muscat, 20, Gaetano Schembri, 21, Etienne Bartolo, 27 and the girl, who cannot be named because she is a minor. All are from Birkirkara.
Keith Bugeja and Etienne Bartolo were also accused of relapsing whilst Muscat was accused of breaching bail conditions.
