Three arraigned in court on drug charges

Two men and a woman, hailing from Sta Venera, have been arraigned in court for drug related charged. The men are brothers.

They are Noel Calleja, Joseph Calleja and Doreen Bugeja, 28, 30, 33 respectively.

Noel Calleja was remanded in custody after pleading not guilty to trafficking cocaine and heroin. He was also charged with resisting and insulting police officers, relapsing and breaking the conditions of a previous release.

Joseph Calleja, pleaded guilty to the same charges and was remanded in custody.
 
Bugeja pleaded guilty to possession but not trafficking the drugs.
