Man, 28, accused of stealing computer and cash

On Friday morning, Jason Gatt, 28, from Paola pleaded not guilty to stealing a computer and cash from a house in Paola.

The man pleaded not guilty to stealing a computer worth €908 (Lm389.80) together with a monitor, keyboard and a cash box containing €600 (Lm257.80).

Prosecution said Mr Gatt has a drug problem and needed assistance and said the defendant had difficulties with parents at home.

Magistrate Michael Mallia granted Mr Gatt bail against a personal guarantee of €1,000 (Lm429.18).
