Man, 32, accused of trafficking heroin

On Monday morning, Tony Armango Zahra, 32 of Mosta pleaded not guilty to trafficking and possession of heroin and relapsing.

Zahra was accused of possession and possession of the mentioned drug in Mosta after his residence was raided on Sunday. The circumstances denote that the drug was not for his exclusive use.

Police Inspector Jesmond Borg for the prosecution told the court that the accused should not be granted bail because of pending court cases on similar charges and that, given this record,Zahra could not be trusted.

Magistrate Joseph Apap Bologna remanded him in custody
