Couple to sue company over tragic loss of son

A couple are suing the construction company which owned the block of apartments where their son fell down a shaft and tragically lost his life, timesofmalta.com reported. The boy was 2 years 10 months old and the incident happened in Zebbug in April.
Joseph and Vanessa Agius are claiming that the company was responsible for safety details in the block’s common areas. According to them, it was due to defects in the building’s safety that led to their son’s death and therefore the company was responsible for this tragedy, timesofmalta.com said.
The couple are asking the court to order the company to pay them damages for their loss.
