Autopsy conducted on corpse found on Monday

On Tuesday morning an autopsy was carried out on the corpse of the 36-year-old man who was found lifeless on Monday morning in Cospicua.

The autopsy determined that the man had died because of pulmonary oedema. Toxicological tests will be conducted to determine more clearly the cause of death, the police said in a statement.

The man was found lying dead in Triq l-Iljun Cospicua on Monday at around 0400CET and certified dead on site.
