27-year-old dies in Cirkewwa traffic accident

A 27-year-old man from Qormi lost his life on Sunday following a collision between a motorcycle and a minibus in Cirkewwa.
The accident happened at around 0750 CEST in Cirkewwa.
Magistrate Dr J.Apap Bologna appointed various experts to help him in the inquiry.
Meanwhile, twenty-seven illegal immigrants were brought to shore by the Armed Forces of Malta on Sunday before 0700 CEST at Haywharf.
The group consists of 19 men and eight women. The immigrants were saved earlier by a foreign fishing vessel some 98 nautical miles off the south of Malta.
Police investigations continue on both cases.
