16 arrested over possession of drugs at party

The anti-drug squad is holding 16 people under arrest after they were found in possession of illicit drugs during a party. Ten men and six women, aged between 17-30 have been arrested.
Ecstasy, Cocaine and cannabis were found after a number of searches conducted during a party held on Saturday night in the limits of Rabat.
Those arrested hail from Floriana, Birkirkara, Saint Paul’s Bay, Gzira, Ghajnsielem Gozo, Birzebbugia, Zejtun, Swieqi, Bahar ic-Caghaq, Sy Julians, Mosta and a man of Scottish nationality.
They are to be arraigned in the coming days.
