Corpse retrieved, migrants land at Delimara

The lifeless body of a man was recovered from the sea by the Armed Forces of Malta in the early hours of Friday. The corpse was found to be in an advanced state of decomposition and no documents were found, the police said in a statement.

photo Maj. I ConsiglioMeanwhile, a group of 26 illegal immigrants landed in Delimara. The group of 21 men and five women, managed to make it ashore bn Friday by 0545 CET.

The immigrants were apprehended.

Immigration police are investigating.
