Four held over drug finds in Paceville

Four foreigners have been arrested after being found in possession of drugs in Paceville between Saturday and Sunday.

The Drugs Squad held a 25-year-old Ethiopian who resides in Marsa and who was found in possession of various pieces of cannabis resin which were ready to be sold. A 31-year-old Libyan man who lives in Siggiewi and who was in the company of the Ethiopian, was also arrested.

Meanwhile, two 17-year-old French students were discovered smoking cannabis. They too are being held for further questioning.

Arraignments are expected to be made shortly.

The police are still investigating.
