AFM rescue two children and two men from sea

Two children and two men were rescued by the Armed Forces of Malta’s after they found themselves in difficulty while swimming.

The rescue took place at around 1625CET in the sea just off the Chalet on the Sliema Front's promenade.  

An Alouette rescue-helicopter was already alerted and ready to fly to the scene, but the Melita-1 rescue-launch that arrived on site within 8 minutes of the initial alert succesfully recovered the two Russian children, along with two other men who had attempted to rescue them as well.
