Three-year-old dies in traffic accident at Ghajn Tuffieha

A three year-old boy lost his life after being involved in a traffic accident in Triq iz-Zebbiegh, Ghajn Tuffieha, whilst a 60 year-old passenger suffered grievous injuries.
The incident happened at around 1230CET, according to the police, when a 31 year-old man of Zabbar lost control of a vehicle and ended up in a field. In the vehicle there were the boy and a 60 year-old man.
An ambulance was called and the boy was certified dead on site whilst the 60 year-old man was certified to be suffering from grievous injuries. The driver only sustained light injuries and was suffering from schock.
Further investigations by the police are underway.
