Two injured after collision with a truck in B'Kara

A man and a woman were injured in a car collision with a truck in Birkirkara after the truck driver lost control of his vehicle, the police said in a statement.
The incident happened at around 1730CET in Valley Road, Birkirkara. The two victims are a man and a woman of St Paul’s Bay, 47 years-old and 50 years-old respectively, were rushed to Mater Dei hospital where they are still being kept for treatment.
The driver of the truck is a 34 year-old man from Pembroke.
Further investigations are underway.
