Maltese man wanted for sex abuse on minors arrested

A 60 year-old Maltese man, John Marmara, wanted in Malta on charges of sex abuse on minors, has been apprehended by the U-S Customers and Border Protection service after he tried to cross from Canada to the United States of America.
Marmara is a resident of Canada and was apprehended in Niagara Falls.
It is believed a warrant for his arrest was issued some two months ago by Maltese authorities.
