Man denied bail over a series of charges

On Saturday afternoon, Joseph Zahra, was denied bail after facing a number of charges in Court.

Zahra, 55, of Hal Far pleaded not guilty to damaging a car, offending public morals and assaulting a  person in August and September.

He was also charged of threatening a person with a fire arm, careless driving, threatening and disobeying police officers and breaching the peace.

The accused was denied bail and taken to the Corradino Correctional Facility.
