Man assaults and bites policewoman

A 28-year-old man was arraigned in Court on Saturday afternoon and accused of aggression against a public official. He allegedly bit a policewoman during a drug raid in the restrooms at a party venue.
He pleaded guilty, and was given a two-year suspended sentence and fined 50 euro. He was also asked to pay 45 euro damages to the policewoman.
The case was heard by Magistrate Dr A Micallef Trigona.
