Sliema woman seriously injured after fall

A 57 year-old woman was seriously injured and is in danger of losing her life after she fell one storey in her Sliema home.

Police were informed of the incident in Marjanu Vella Street around 1015 CEST Saturday morning.  

The cause of her fall is not known. The woman was on the roof of her residence when she fell down onto the courtyard. She was taken to St Luke’s hospital shortly afterwards. 

Magistrate Dr. Padovani is leading the inquiry while police investigations are still under way.
