Three held over drugs during vehicle checkpoint

Three persons from Zabbar were detained by the Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) personnel during a vehicle checkpoint. Members from 1 Regiment ‘C’ Special Duties Company were performing the checkpoint in the southern part of Malta during the night between Saturday and Sunday.

The youths, who are between 24 and 25 years old, were found in possession of two sachets containing suspected cocaine, one piece of cannabis resin and one popper.

The men were handed over to the police for further investigations.
