Two men injured in work accident in Marsascala

Two men were injured Saturday morning in Bidni Street, Marsascala, when the ceiling of a building they were working on collapsed.

In the incident that occurred at about 0700CEST, a 54 year-old man was certified as suffering from serious injuries but is not in danger of losing his life. The other, a 29 year-old, is suffering from slight injuries.

The Civil Protection Department was called in to dig out one of the men from the debris.

Police investigations are underway
