Birkirkara man critical after hitting his head

A 45-year-old man is in a critical condition after falling and hitting his head in Birkirkara on Saturday afternoon.
The man, who is from Birkirkara, is thought to have lost consciousness after falling in Pjazza Santa Liena. The police were alerted by passers-by who informed that there was an unconscious man on the ground.
The man is being cared for in Mater Dei hospital, where his condition was said to be life threatening.
The Police are investigating further.
