Surcharge unchanged, fuel prices increase

Surcharge payable on energy and water bills will remain unchanged at a rate of 45% for the months of June and July.  

petrol On the other hand the prices of unleaded petrol, lead replacement petrol and diesel will increase in June, as from Friday.  The price of petrol will go up by Lm0.03c from Lm0.42c6 to Lm0.45c6. Lead replacement petrol will also see its price rise by Lm0.03c from Lm0.45c6 to Lm0.48c6. The price of diesel will increase marginally by four mills (Lm0.00c4), to stand at Lm0.39c3 from Lm0.38c9.

Light heating oil prices per litre will remain unchanged at Lm0.24c1.

200 degrees Thin Fuel Oil prices will go up by Lm7 from Lm133 to Lm140. The price of 450 degrees Thin Fuel Oil will increase by Lm8.50c to Lm134.50c from Lm126, while the price of 950 degrees Thin Fuel Oil will rise by Lm11 from Lm 115.50c to Lm126.50c.
