A foreign man died tragically on Friday morning at around 11:00CET after he experienced difficulties while diving in the Cirkewwa area. The man was exploring the Cirkewwa area together with other divers.
Upon being informed, the Police went immediately at the location indicated. An ambulance was called but unfortunately the man died on site.
The autopsy is expected to be carried out on Saturday.
Duty Magistrate Dr G. Grixti was informed of the case and several experts were appointed to assist in the inquiry.
Further police investigations are underway.
