On Wednesday, the Health Division announced that registrations for the ‘Pharmacy of Your Choice’ have begun for patients in particular localities. Patients who are entitled to free medicines and who usually collect them from the Mosta Health Centre or from Bugibba, Għargħur, Mellieħa, Mġarr, Naxxar, Qawra and St Paul’s, can in fact make their registrations.

The registrations formula can be collected from the Mosta Health Centre of from pharmacies enlisted within the scheme and which are found in the aforementioned localities.

To register, patients are to produce their Identity Card, Medical Card and all white documents that entitle them to free medicines.

Meanwhile, patients who have a yellow card or who are diabetic should apply by the 13th October.

The registration formula should be initially be filled in by the pharmacist in charge of the pharmacy chosen. Patients are then to give the formula to their doctor who will fill in a second section.

The registration formula should then be handed in at the pharmacy.
