Medicines Authority calls for parental caution

In a statement on Friday, the Medicines Authority is advising parents not to administer any cough and cold medicines to infants under two years of age unless by doctor’s prescription.

The Authority however stated that for children over the age of two, such medicines are safe if one does not exceed the recommended dosages.
