Elderly man, 84, hit by a coach in Luqa

An 84-year-old man from Luqa has suffered light injuries after being hit by a coach. The incident happened at around 0715CET on Monday at St Vincent street, Luqa, the police said.
Preliminary investigations show that the man was crossing the road when he was hit by a Leyland Aec coach. The elderly man was taken to Materi Dei hospital but he only sustained light injuries.
Further investigations are underway.
