Three injured in factory explosion in Hal Far

A minor explosion at the Star Pharma factory has left three workers injured on Friday morning, the police said in a statement.
The incident happened at around 1100CET when a machine which mixes chemicals exploded. Members of the Civil Protection Department were called on site together with a team of paramedics from Mater Dei hospital and Officers of the Occupational Health and Safety Authority.
A team of police officers are still on site conducting investigations.
