Second boatload of immigrants in a few hours

Early on Wednesday morning another group of 27 illegal immigrants disembarked in Tower Road, Sliema. The group consisted of men only, according to the police statement.

The persons were already on land when the police arrived on site at around 05:15CET.

The immigrants were all in good health condition.

This is the second group of illegal immigrants to land on Maltese soil as on Tuesday afternoon 27 persons disembarked in Xlendi, Gozo.
