KNPD congratulates Fr Martin Micallef

The Kummissjoni Nazzjonali Persuni b'Dizabiilta (KNPD) has expressed its satisfaction  with the appointment of Fr Martin Micallef as the new director of Dar tal-Providenza.

Fr Martin has carried out studies in the area of persons with intellectual impairment and has been active in the disability field for a number of years. For the last six years he has also been an active member of KNPD.

KNPD said it is certain that his preparation and  empathy with the experiences of disabled people and their families will  be invaluable to him, not only in the management of this home but also in his ministry in the disability sector.

KNPD has pledged its full support to Fr Martin, as it did with his predecessors.

KNPD has also thanked Mgr Lawrence Gatt for his work in the last 21 years as Director of Dar tal-Providenza and  wished him  every success in his new post and duties.
