the ten qualifiers from the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest semi-final will be
Turkey,
Malta,
Belarus,
Serbia,
Cyprus, FYR Macedonia,
Slovenia,
Switzerland,
Norway and
Bulgaria.
Behind the top ten are
Andorra,
Georgia,
Hungary,
Estonia and
Moldova. Of the most hotly tipped
countries to pass to the final before polls opened,
Denmark
are currently sitting in 16th place,
Latvia
in 18th and
Israel
in 25th position.
According to the first results,
Croatia,
Montenegro and
Albania will be
in the last three positions.
In turn, British betting company William
Hill opened the Eurovision Song Contest book with
Malta at odds of 40/1 of winning.
