Olivia Lewis' website has been nominated as
Best Artist Website
for
the Eurowebby
Awards, dedicated to awarding the best Eurovision Song Contest related sites
around the world. The winner of each category will be decided through public
vote with the results being announced on the 5th May.
In turn, Olivia is currently in
Belgium, where
she has been extensively interviewed by several television and radio stations,
together with members of the printed press.
The singer’s trip to
Belgium on Friday started out rough since
all flights from Munich, where the singer flew to from Minsk, to Brussels Airport were cancelled due to a fire workers'
strike. The cancellation, articulated in Olivia's blog, led to her missing an appearance for a television
programme on TVL Studio live.
Fortunately Olivia managed to arrive in
Brussels in time to perform Vertigo, set to represent
Malta in the Eurovision
semi-final on the 10th May, at D-Club later that day, together with other
Eurovision Song Contest
participants.
Olivia’s promotional tour in
Brussels continued on Saturday
with various other interviews scheduled. Afterwards Olivia will travelled to
Hilversum to participate in a popular
Netherlands television
show.
Olivia Lewis returns to
Malta on Monday.
