Malta Eurovision delegation leaves for Helsinki

Olivia Lewis and the Maltese Eurovision delegation have left for Helsinki, Finland, ahead of the singer’s participation in the semi-final round of the contest next week on Thursday 10th May. Olivia’s flight via Frankfurt left Malta just after 1100CET.

Rehearsals for Vertigo will commence almost immediately with Olivia taking to the stage at Helsinki Arena on Friday afternoon. A second rehearsal will follow on Sunday.

On Wednesday evening, Olivia participated in her final concert in Malta before leaving the island.  Qormi Goes Vertigo was b held at Narbona Square in the singer’s hometown and started at 2000CET. The concert also featured some of Malta’s most prominent singers including past winners of the MaltaSong Festival.
